Fall Campout 2023 @ Camp William B Snyder

Saturday, October 7th to Sunday, October 8th. The sign-up deadline is Friday, September 29. Scouts, parents, siblings, and friends are all invited to come (Please no pets). Medical form needed. Only parts A & B (you do not need page C with the doctor’s signature). Please bring the completed form with you to Camp Snyder. You can find the form here.
Cost:
$20 per family for the campsite.
$9 per camper for food.

  • SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7
    • 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Pack 150 Check-in.
    • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Bring your own Lunch.
    • 12:15 PM – 6:00 PM – Setup / Games.
      • Lion – Lion’s Honor
      • Tiger – Games Tigers Play.
      • Wolf – Running With The Pack.
      • Bear – Bear Necessities.
      • Webelos – Stronger, Faster, Higher.
      • Arrow Of Light – Outdoor Adventurer.
    • 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Possible Hike or Camping Core Adventures
      • Lion – Mountain Lion.
      • Tiger – Tigers In The Wild.
      • Wolf – Call Of The Wild and/or Paws On The Path.
      • Bear – Bear Necessities and/or Fur, Feathers, And Ferns.
      • Webelos – Webelos Walkabout.
      • Arrow Of Light – Outdoor Adventurer.
    • 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM – Dinner provided.
    • 6:45 PM – 7:30 PM – Den Skit practice.
    • 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Den Skits in front of Pack.
  • Sunday, October 8
    • 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM – Breakfast Provided.
    • 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM – Pack-up (Leave No Trace)
    • 10:00 AM – Check-out

Suggested Packing List

  • Medications
  • Field uniform for ceremonies and religious services
  • Activity uniform (troop/pack shirts or any scout shirts) for other activities
  • Pants or shorts, socks, and underwear
  • Pajamas or comfortable clothes to sleep in
  • Your Scout handbook
  • Mess kit (or plate and cup) and utensils
  • Sleeping bag/pillow/pad or mat
  • Coat/Hat/Gloves (for cold weather camping)
  • Ball cap or hat and sunscreen
  • Jacket or sweatshirt
  • Extra pair of boots or shoes
  • Extra socks
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste, soap and hand towel
  • Flashlight with extra batteries
  • Canteen or water bottle
  • Raingear
  • Camp chair
  • Any other items you need for the planned activities (i.e. swimsuit and towel if there
  • will be aquatic activities)

Optional Gear

  • Camera (disposable recommended)
  • Insect repellant – LOTION TYPE OR WIPE ON TYPE ONLY!!!! NO AEROSOL!!!!
  • Frisbee/ball glove and ball/board games/cards /etc

Other rules to keep in mind:

  • NO alcoholic beverages!
  • NO fireworks, firearms, archery equipment, etc.!
  • NO pets!
